Alessia Cara

After gaining considerable attention from her RIAA gold #1 debut hit single “Here”, Alessia Cara released her debut album KNOW-IT-ALL on Def Jam Recordings Friday, November 13 and today announces the KNOW-IT-ALL tour. The North American tour will open January 15th at Corona Theatre in Montreal, QC, and wrap up at Union Hall in Edmonton on April 1st. (Please see complete itinerary below.) Fans who purchase the Know-It-All CD + Meet & Greet Package via the Alessia Cara official store will get an invitation to meet Alessia at one of her upcoming shows. Limited meet and greets are available. Fans can get details and purchase this special package at http://smarturl.it/KnowItAllMerch.

“Here” arrived as Spin’s “anti-social anthem” of the summer – championed online by influential sites like The Fader, Pigeons & Planes, Pitchfork, Complex, and others – was lauded in an extended New York Times profile, and turned into a #1 global viral track on Spotify that won the Original Song Award at this year’s 5th annual VH1 Streamy Awards. Alessia has captured the hearts of fans, critics and notable admirers, among them Lorde, Drake, Alicia Keys, and Taylor Swift, who added Alessia’s “I’m Yours” to her playlist of ‘New Songs That Will Make Your Life More Awesome.’

The numbers confirm “Here”’s success: On the cusp of the Top 10 on Billboard’s Hot 100 this week at #13-bullet, “Here” is already Top 10 on both the Radio Songs and Mediabase Big Picture Charts with over 100 million listeners per week. The song is rocketing up no less than five different genre charts: Rhythm (Top 5*), Top 40 (Top 10*), Urban (Top 20*), Urban AC (29*), and Hot AC (35*). The Hot Digital Songs chart has “Here” certified RIAA gold at #15-bullet

Fans who purchased Alessia’s Four Pink Walls debut EP (released in August), which contained “Here,” “I’m Yours” and other tracks, are completing their album with a discounted purchase of KNOW-IT-ALL. Track list for the Standard Edition of the album is as follows: 1. Seventeen * 2. Here * 3. Outlaws * 4. I’m Yours * 5. Four Pink Walls * 6. Wild Things * 7. Stone featuring Sebastian Kole * 8. Overdose * 9. Stars * 10. Scars. The Deluxe Edition of KNOW IT ALL will contain three bonus tracks: 11. Here (2 AM Version) * 12. River of Tears * 13. My Song. KNOW-IT-ALL is available at http://smarturl.it/Know-It-All.

19-year old Alessia won over a nationwide tv audience in July, when she made her small screen debut performing “Here” with the Roots on NBC’s The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. “For a self-described ‘antisocial pessimist’ giving her first major appearance,” Idolator reported on the singer (in her Life Of The Party t-shirt), “she was incredibly engaging, mugging for the camera and owning the stage. She even seemed to be enjoying all the attention at the end when Fallon told her ‘You belong here.’ This girl’s gonna be huge.”
