Fusing nu-skool breaks, progressive house and asian underground, all while drumming new beats and loops on the fly, you can't help but stare as he mixes with one hand and drums out a new beat with another.

As POUND's live PA artist, Akeel brings a unique element only to be found at POUND that fuses live percussion with top quality mixing talent, having played with the likes of Max Graham, Atomic Hooligan, Sharaz, the Planet of the Drums tour (Dieselboy, AK1200, Dara), Mad Knob Technicians, Klute, Sage,DJ Swamp, Big League Chu, DJ Rap, Dig-Dug and many others.

You'll see him drum new beats and rhythms on the spot, all while scratching and mixing on three turntables or working with his POUND brothers to create a unique audio experience that must be seen to be believed.
