The Victoria Event Centre (VEC) was established in 2003 and is managed by Victoria Multi-Cultural Society.
The Victoria Multi-Cultural Society is a non-profit society with a mandate to provide an affordable, flexible, accommodating multi-purpose venue for small arts and entertainment groups, cultural organizations and non-profit communities to hold their shows/performances, fundraisers and community celebrations.

There is a large multi-user, gender-inclusive bathroom with stalls and urinals, one accessible private washroom, and one non-accessible private washroom.
The Victoria Event Centre currently does not have an operational elevator, and there is one long flight of stairs at the venue entrance. The only way into the VEC is up 27 wood stairs, 11″ deep, 6″ high. There are wooden 2.5” handrails 38” up the wall on each side of the staircase (54” apart, so not graspable on both sides at once).
