Staticbed

Staticbed refers to the state between life and death, death and life and birth and rebirth. Accepting that the very nature of art and music as tangible and intangible succinctly. As a group Staticbed seek to demonstrate the fragility and strength within each of us. Staticbed blend frantic textured guitar driven rythyms with soulful lyrics to end up with their own breed of new rock.
Staticbed was formed in late 2002 by bassist/vocalist Josh Macdonald and guitarist Ross McLean at c.d.i.s., where Ross was studying recording arts. They were soon joined by drummer Sean Cueto and second guitarist Stu Blackie who were also attending c.d.i.s After a year of shows and demo's, the band is in the studio at present recording their 1st serious effort. A 5 song e.p. set for independant release in late fall.
