Event Description

Event type: All Ages

PA Daze: Youth Crash Course in Demo Recording at CFRC 101.9 FM

Spring Reverb, in partnership with CFRC, presents a hands-on workshop for youth under 30 to learn the fundamentals of recording, editing, and radio broadcasting.

This free two hour session welcomes participants for an interactive studio experience. After a brief tour and introduction, attendees rotate through three stations in small groups. Participants will record a short demo using professional equipment, learn basic editing skills, and step into the role of guest DJ to share their favourite tracks live on air.

Each participant may bring one instrument and will leave with raw audio files, a polished demo recording, and a short video for social use. A take home resource guide will support continued learning.

This is a practical, low barrier entry point into recording and broadcasting within a supportive, creative environment.
