Event Description

Gala of Lights is an elegant charity event taking place on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at the Victoria International Marina in Victoria, BC. It’s an evening of community celebration and support for the Women in Trades program at Camosun College — a training pathway that equips women with hands-on skills, mentorship, and industry connections to build careers in the skilled trades, a sector where women currently make up only about 4 % of the workforce.

Guests at the gala will enjoy exceptional cuisine by Collective Catering, sommelier-curated wines, a red-carpet experience, live music and dancing with the band OK Charlie, exclusive auction items, and inspiring stories from program participants whose lives have been transformed through this opportunity.

There are VIP and General Admission ticket levels, both of which include a tax receipt, and a portion of the proceeds goes toward supporting women as they access the training and tools they need for rewarding careers in high-demand trades. The event is 19+ and also offers sponsorship opportunities for organizations and individuals who want to make a meaningful impact.
