Natural Dyeing in the Orchard

Event Description

Come out and enjoy a morning of art in the orchard! This workshop will walk you through all the steps of how to use locally grown flowers and natural dyeing to create beautiful patterns on fabric. Using the technique of flower pounding, all participants will get to create their own beautiful naturally dyed tote bag to take home. This workshop will also include a demonstration of how to prepare fabric for natural dyeing so that you can continue to practise this new skill at home! All supplies are included in this workshop, however our number of hammers available may be limited. Please bring your own if possible to help the workshop run smoothly!
