Event Description

"4 Journeys" Art Show at POV Gallery at the Metchosin Arts & Cultural Centre
4495 Happy Valley Road, Metchosin. Free entry. Tuesdays - Thursdays 11 - 3
Fridays - Sundays 11 - 4. Artists in attendance Saturdays - Sundays 11 - 3.

Joint Art show of four artists showing paintings, assemblages, jewellery and instruments.
Kirstie Ann Loudon's work explores the emotional and sensory experience of nature through vibrant, abstract expressionist landscapes in heavily textured mixed media.

Mone Vogel paints urban landscapes of southern Vancouver Island in oils, creates ceramic jewellery as well as assemblages of found objects using only antique and vintage items.

Andrew Horridge's acrylic paintings record scenes of his life. He uses recycled and repurposed materials for the frames and the musical instruments on display.

Lisa Surette-Markin's mixed media art captures nostalgic moments of people's personal history on canvas and items such as vintage globes and antique typewriters.
