Event Description

Tailgator - An alternative folk project created by Logan Plessis and Linden Gigliotti - Brings the classic sounds of traditional folk music, bluegrass and blues and seasons them with modern flavours. The summer of 2024 has been a milestone for the duo having independently releasing their debut single “Cold Sunshine” which scored roughly 5k streams in its first month on Spotify. Plessis and Gigliotti have also been preforming their carefully crafted sets around BC and Alberta with a healthy blend of originals and cover songs. They are currently in the process of preparing their first EP to release in Summer 2025. Pulling influence from timeless songwriters such as John Prine and Townes Van Zandt as well as current writers like Dallas Green and Bahamas, Linden and Logan’s mission with Tailgator is to create music that transports the listener and encourage them to feel the feels while thinking big thoughts. The main object is to write songs that they enjoy playing without putting themselves into too small of a box as they listen to a large variety of music as well.
