Event Description

This lively evening of music honours the creativity and initiative of our talented students. Lead by Wendell Clanton, the concert will feature a dynamic blend of timeless classics and fresh arrangements, each reflecting the vibrant energy of the human spirit. The program will include Spain by Chick Corea, arranged by Carey Wang, S'Wonderful by George Gershwin, arranged by Phil Mattson and Gene Puerling, Jubilee by Bobby McFerrin, arranged by Michelle Weir, and other exciting student arrangements!

Known for their artistic brilliance and versatile style, the UVic Vocal Jazz Ensemble consistently captivates audiences with their unique and inspiring performances. From intricate harmonies to soulful improvisations, come enjoy an evening of music that shines with creativity, passion, and joy.
