Swing dance party: Slim Sandy's Atomic Cocktails

Event Description

Join Slim Sandy's Atomic Cocktails and dance the night away as they play 2 sets of swing jazz, jive and rhythm and blues from the 20’s to the 40’s. Slim, on guitar and harmonica, is joined by Willa Mae on vocals, “Big Daddy Bo” on bass, and Bryn Bad on trumpet. Slim Sandy has been playing music for over 40 years with acts such as Ray Condo and the Crazy Rhythm Daddies. In 2012, he and Willa Mae co-created the Slim Sandy band in Victoria! They have played music festivals in Canada, France, Spain, Germany, Belgium, and the Netherlands. In May they will touring in Japan!
