Event Description

NeuzTec's Saturday features a series of back-to-back sonic experiments, short performances of 20-30 minutes in length. Admission is $20 at the door (NOTAFLOF in effect).

SCHEDULE FOR SATURDAY NOV 16:

Artists in order of appearance beginning at 2:00 PM: DIALECTRIC, PJS, ISLES, ISOLATED SHOWERS, PERIPHERAL

~Intermission / Technical Break: 4:30-5:00 PM~

Artists presented by the Victoria Conservatory of Music, in order of appearance beginning at 5:00 PM: A PLACE TO LISTEN DUO, HOT SLEEPERS (HRDVSION & EFEMME), DENIZ PEKMEZCI, NAOMI TRIEBWASSER

~Intermission / Technical Break: 7:00-7:30 PM~

Artists in order of appearance beginning at 7:30 PM: MT. LOGAN, SOFT TONGUES: A BIOACOUSTIC OPERA, WILL MASKION

NeuzTec is presented by the Garden City Electronic Music Society and the Victoria Conservatory of Music, NeuzTec! Festival is celebrating the growing symbiosis of technology and multimedia including experimental sound design, theatrical arts, electroacoustic, video, noise, drone, ambient, electronica, post-rock, improvisational jazz, cinematic interpretations, and modular synthesis.

NeuzTec's 9th edition is presented by the Garden City Electronic Music Society and the Victoria Conservatory of Music and supported by the City of Victoria, the Capital Regional District, the Government of Canada, Open Space Gallery and Long and McQuade.
