Event Description

Sarah Jane Scouten’s A Midwinter Concert with special guests Grant Lawrence, Suzie Ungerleider, Mark Kilianski and Q Brooke Bachand. Proceeds from this concert will go to FarmFolk CityFolk’s BC Medicinal Plant & Seeds Project.

Vancouver-born folk/country songwriter Sarah Jane Scouten trained as a herbalist in the UK during the COVID pandemic and now integrates ecology, sustainable land use and traditional wellness practice into her work as an artist. Her latest album ‘Turned to Gold’ was released this past spring.

Grant Lawrence is an award-winning writer, musician, broadcaster and live event host.

Suzie Ungerleider’s gloriously emotive, crystalline voice and her bewitching performances have captivated audiences for over 25 years.

Mark Kilianski is a guitar flatpicker, banjo player, singer/songwriter, and one half of the Americana/Old Time duo Golden Shoals.

2x Irish music award-winning fiddler Q Brooke Bachand from Victoria, is a consummate performer, known for their powerful fiddling and captivating vocals.
