Event Description
Loving Spoonful and the Memorial Centre Farmers' Market (MCFM) are excited to announce a shiny new event for the community: a Block Party to build community around a celebration of local food, taking place on Sunday, August 25, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, at the Memorial Centre (303 York St.).
In place of the popular Night Market, an event which has been a staple of community fun for the past few years, this year’s Block Party promises to bring even more excitement and enjoyment to the market day. The event will feature:
Live DJs and Dancing All Day!
DJ THIRDPLACE from 9:00 to 11:30 AM
DJ LK from 11:30 AM to 2:00 PM
Regular Market Hours with a Special Twist
Market-goers will enjoy their favorite local vendors with added festive flair.
Grassy Area Activities
Dance party!
Loving Spoonful cooking demo to showcase delicious recipes and local ingredients!
Educational activities highlighting the local food system, perfect for people of all ages to learn and enjoy together.
