Hey guys, Millet here. We've been cooking.
Millet has been bringing down the house around Victoria BC since 2022. With flavours of funk, rock, and RnB, the 6-9 piece ensemble miraculously broke into the scene after their 1st place victory at the 2023 Felicita's Battle of the Bands. They commonly slayed as a regular act for the UVic Surf Club board meeting shows. Recent performances include the CFUV Funding Drive and the 2024 Cook St. Block Party. Every Millet performance feels like an explosion with the force of 1000 tsunamis crashing in your backyard.

From Victoria BC, Olivia Jackson and Brendan Wong are actual human people. Their unique approach to indie-folk utilizes ambient textures and lush harmonies, and has quickly garnered a small but passionate fanbase in their home city. actual human people’s debut EP, bug birthday party was released on September 17, 2022.
Their music combines intimate lyricism and textural gestures rooted in personal expression. actual human people strives to give our listeners something they can feel.
