Event Description
MOI - MOMENTUM OF ISOLATION bases its performances around social isolation and loneliness. The performance explores the objective and subjective experiences through the individual, the group and modern society - a society with shifting values and an ever-advancing digital way of life.
To share a digital world on stage, MOI places live interactive video and sound around the performers. These elements enhance ideas on how technology influences our lives, and that it can both empower and disempower us.
Artistic Director and choreographer, Shay Kuebler, defines Radical System Art as an outlet for a childlike need to create, move and tell stories, stating "Maybe that is one of the reasons why dance and theatre can be so captivating: they tap us into our instinctive need to learn and be creative. Regardless of where you are from, we all connect back to our need to move and express ourselves."
