There is a rawness and honesty to this artist’s voice - a welcome surprise in an industry that relies all too heavily on electronic "grooming. It's that sound and her songs that open Jane up to a wide and diverse audience - not just what you would classify as typical folk or roots audiences, but people who appreciate songs about the universality of human relationships.
You probably think these songs are about you. And they are. Lindsay Jane is a deft interpreter of powerful emotion, a singer-songwriter-guitar-pickin' girl with equal command of melody and lyricism.
After several tours across Canada as a solo performer, Lindsay joined the Wyrd Sisters as lead guitarist and vocalist. After a years worth of being ruled by the lead stage personality, Lindsay decided to abandon ship and has since returned to her solo roots.
