Event Description

In this gripping thriller directed by Kitty Green and starring Julia Garner, Jessica Henwick, Toby Wallace, and Hugo Weaving, two young women contend with a very malicious form of the male gaze in a small Australian outback mining town. Inspired by a 2016 documentary Hotel Coolgardie by Pete Gleeson, the film was nominated for Best Film at the San Sebastián Int'l Film Festival, won best Int'l Feature at CineFest Sudbury, and took home the RTVE-Otra Mirada Award. Don't miss this intense exploration of fear and survival.
