Newly restored picture and sound and released to coincide with its 40th anniversary, the 1984 film was directed by renowned filmmaker Jonathan Demme (Silence of the Lambs). Considered by many critics to be the greatest concert film of all time, the live performance was shot over the course of three nights at Hollywood’s Pantages Theater in December of 1983. The film features a captivating selection of Talking Heads’ most unforgettable songs, performed with unmatched passion and precision. From “Burning Down the House” to “Once in a Lifetime” and “Psycho Killer,” Stop Making Sense musical revelation that will have you dancing in your seat.
