About Princess Towers

Princess Towers take their name from Kingston’s tallest building and biggest eyesore. Like their namesake, they combine familiar forms with unusual angular experiments that might catch on in the future. Their 2022 debut "Remastered in Stereo" centers on a humble cast of ordinary things and feelings, and presents a scale model of their offbeat approach to folk and country stylings. Following a release tour in fall 2022 and a soundtrack collaboration with Montreal’s Elkabong Theatre in January, construction is slated to continue in 2023 with "Freak Fairy Tales," a fantastical collection of mundane stories put to song.

About Jenny Lapp

Jenny Lapp writes songs rooted in a folk sensibility that span between ethereal drifting and grounded storytelling. Originally from Sydenham ON, she is now based out of Halifax, where she came of age with equal footing in sacred choral music and the local folk scene. In 2022 she put out her debut EP and took to the road, playing 32 shows across Canada. Any performance of Jenny’s may shapeshift from solo to duo to full electric folk-rock outfit.

About Groucho Pepe

Groucho Pepe comes from the minds and hearts of Arthur Hill and Sharilyn Anderson, accompanied by good pals and keen collaborators Liam Cole and Cecily Taylor. Both gentle and robust, Groucho Pepe invites you to shed inhibitions and get lost in their melodic and catchy expressions of tenderness, catharsis, nostalgia and revelry. The perfect soundtrack for a mellow night.
