Formed in 2018 by vocalist/bassist Alias Powell and keyboard/saxophonista Erin Dwyer, the band also features Troy Haws on guitar, Jose Vieira on guitar, Nival Bissoon on Drums and Evan Overman on Trumpet. Described by many as "one of the most original and best kept secrets in Victoria's illustrious rock and roll scene" and by Wendy the neighbour as "Not my cup of tea"and "out there", Wooler will bring you ups and downs with unignorable sounds. The band will be playing songs from its debut album 'Without Your Mind' (check it out on Spotify or whatever streaming service you use), as well as some new material from their upcoming second album.
Check out the video below for "Without your Mind", filmed and produced by Alias in his hometown and the namesake of the band, Wooler, Ontario.
MATT ROBBIE MCLEAN is a songwriter who lives in Esquimalt, BC. He is a part of Victoria's the Wicks.
