Event Description
An intimate afternoon with two of the finest interpreters of melody, text and song, the renowned Louise Rose and Joey Smith.
Louise rose has performed around the world as a vocalist and pianist, educator and public speaker. Ms. Rose studied under some of the greats of this art form including Leonard Bernstein, Duke Ellington, Oscar Peterson and performed with countless masters from Ray Charles to Ella Fitzgerald.
Bassist, guitarist and educator Joey Smith has performed with a who's who of Jazz greats from the Glenn Miller Orchestra to jazz guitar legend Charlie Byrd.
*Please note, the special duo concert takes the place of the regularly scheduled Great American Songbook Trio as drummer Kelby MacNayr must be absent but will be joining vocalist Denzel Sinclair with the Victoria symphony.
