Event Description

Award-winning Toronto/Victoria pianist Attila Fias and his trio will be celebrating the compositions of time-honoured jazz
pianists Thelonious Monk, Bill Evans, Dave Brubeck, Oscar Peterson, Chick Corea, Bud Powell, McCoy Tyner and more, with a few originals included as well.
These pieces have become recognizable standards and are perfect vehicles for the trio to interpret. Attila’s arrangements will present them in a new light, with his unique world jazz influences and decades of experience creating a fresh approach to these classic tunes. Scott and Kelby bring their own lovely musicality to round out the group’s sound.
