Event Description
The Cheese and Meat Festival returns on September 10th to the Car Shop at
Bayview Place — Victoria’s picturesque former train roundhouse. Get ready to taste, smell, and
sip the best artisanal bites and beverages the Pacific Northwest and beyond has to offer.
Walk into the festival and receive your own personal charcuterie board (your gift to keep) and a
tasting glass for sipping. Once you're ready to mingle, wander through and enjoy over 40
artisanal food and beverage vendors showcasing multiple samples of their finest creations.
The Cheese and Meat Festival connects Victoria’s food enthusiasts and industry professionals
with many local artisanal food and beverage producers and vendors while giving guests a chance to
encounter undiscovered favorites and not just cheese and meat! Expect a stunning showcase of
products- charcuterie, cheese, vegan and vegetarian treats, pickles; all elegantly paired with
a beautiful assortment of hand-produced brews.
Disclaimer: The venue is a historic site that has train tracks that run throughout the building. It requires a walk of just over 100 meters to the venue entrance. If you require any help please email us as we would love to assist. All of the seminars will be located in train carts that require you to walk up one to two flights of stairs. The Car Shop at Bayview is accessed via Catherine Street.
