Fans & Motor Supply are something of a Victoria supergroup who recall the laidback vibes of such as The Band, Little Feat, Ry Cooder, Tony Joe White, and some of Eric Burdon’s excursions with War. It’s loosely funky, very soulful, and delivered with the seemingly effortless aplomb one would expect from four richly talented local legends.
Joining Dan Wise (lead vocals, guitar, mandolin) are the brilliant Scotty White (bass, backing vocals), drummer Matt Pease (Brishen / Daniel Lapp / Marc Atkinson), and Daniel Tate (Cobblestone Jazz / The Modern Deep Left Quartet) on keyboards and Hammond B3 organ. While all three enrich Wise’s smoky, Southern soul-infused songs, Tate’s performance, in particular, is wonderful, his shimmering Hammond acting as the perfect counterpoint to Wise’s expressive guitar riffs throughout.

There are two types of people in this world...they are the other type.
Those lawn ornaments on your walk of shame. A soundtrack to those bad decisions you'd make a dozen times given the chance. Tunes that take you back to a place that everyone seems to know, yet was never there to begin with. To a time that, for a brief moment, was called the future. More than just a band, this is a collective of artists conducting a modern vaudevillian experiment. The result is 14 Flamingos.

We are happy to announce that we're back to hosting live music on our stage!!
With the help of FACTOR and Creative BC from Sept 17th we'll be blessed to have some beautiful artists cross our stage again. Shows are Friday and Saturday evenings. Tickets can be purchased online in advance through the Eventbrite link on the Facebook event page. If online ticket purchases don't sell the show out there will be tickets available at the door.
It's at your discretion to wear a mask or not inside. Dancing is a thing again! It can feel cosy in here with a full house and we understand apprehensions as things open back up. We're all navigating this differently as we move back to some sort of semblance of normalcy, we'll strive to accommodate all in the enjoyment of musical performance.
