Event Description

Proof of vaccination and Valid ID is required to access this event.
Please Note: Entrance for this event will be at the Victoria Conservatory of Music Main Entrance- 900 Johnson Street.

Audience member voices join together as a Chorus inside the beautiful Alix Goolden Hall for our 22nd sing-along rendition of Handel's most famous oratorio, led by esteemed conductor, Hilary Sandford.

Please note that Covid-19 protocols will be in place, including (but not limited to): Very limited ticket sales; vaccination requirements, and mask requirements (even while singing). There will be no official intermission and in light of this, the program will be reduced compared to prior years' events.

The Civic Orchestra of Victoria is a vibrant, community-based, non-profit symphony orchestra dedicated to providing accessible concerts in Greater Victoria. This year marks the Civic Orchestra's 38th season and 22nd Sing-Along Messiah.
