_____SLEEPSHAKE______
What started out like every other modern day connection, founding members Nate Prevedoros and Rhea George met on a dating app — Although, coincidentally, both Nate and Rhea were searching for someone to start a new band. After a lengthy conversation on favorite guitars, pedals, and synthesizers, the two knew they had found their match. It wasn't long after until the two met up to play and Sleepshake was born.
Hailing from Canada's west coast island city of Victoria, Sleepshake can be considered a cross between Metric and Royal Blood, with a hint of the Dead Weather. Sleepshake's must-see adrenaline-inducing live show is what truly set them apart from the rest of the pack.

_____TEENAGE VIOLETS_____
Somewhere along the dark highway of Screamin' Jay Hawkins and Link Wray you'll find a broken down black Cadillac. The radio is still crackling in between channels and the headlights are on but don't hang around there too long because somewhere within the trees are four deviants with a taste of blood and that big guitar sound. Look out for those reverb soaked vampires surfing an acid wave
We are happy to announce that Vinyl Envy is back to hosting live music on our stage!!
With the help of FACTOR and Creative BC from Sept 17th we welcome a weekly lineup of stellar artists to our intimate record store and stage.
Here's the nuts and bolts of it...
We are operating within the guidelines of Step 3 of the B.C Restart Plan.
Because of this our capacity right now is limited to 30. We will be selling tickets in pairs only. The tickets are seated and safely distanced so bring a friend from your bubble.
Tickets can be purchased online in advance through the Eventbrite event page. If tickets remain they will be available at the door on the night of the show. Seat allocation is first come first serve. You decide where you wish to sit. We also have a private patio/smoking area at the side of our building for you to use.
Vaccine check at the door? Yes. We need to play by the PHO rules, no exceptions. Masks are not required to be worn when seated but please wear one all other times. Hand sanitizer and masks will be available at the door. There will be sanitization of all high-contact surfaces before and after events and sanitization of high-contact surfaces that are used by multiple parties (bathroom, door handles etc) while events are in progress.
We want to ensure that all our guests are comfortable in our space and that you are aware of what to expect ahead of time. It's a small space where everyone needs to feel safe.
Thank you for your support and understanding and can't wait to see y'all!!
We're here to help artists and arts organizations reach their audiences and each other.
Non-profit run and created by the community, ArtsVictoria.ca integrates current event listings and multimedia arts portfolios, and creates an explorable, living archive of the arts in Victoria BC.
For physical events that happen at a specific time. For example a concert, or dance performance. If there are multiple shows, you can still duplicate your event to cover them all.
