Event Description

Alan is intrigued by the natural weathering effects that wind, rain and sun have on wood in nature and in human-made wooden objects and structures over time. He looks for designs in nature and human creations: searching for interesting shapes, textures, relationships, symmetries, details and contrasting elements of colour, darkness and light. While his images lean towards abstraction they are all based on capturing real subjects.
