An earthy expressive dive into the world of folk-jazz.
Featuring singer/songwriter/vocalist/banjoist Tina Jones, Chad Geekie on the Fender Rhodes piano, Ben Dwyer on acoustic bass and Hans Verhoeven on percussion.
Tina's music is influenced by many Canadian jazz and folk icons, from Joni Mitchell to Joel Plaskett. In addition to being called “an incredible banjo player” (Orville Peck describing the banjo tracks on his JUNO Award Polaris Prize nominated album), Tina’s music is described as “a luxurious blend of acoustic folk, rolled in soul, seasoned with jazz" (Dave O Rama for BC Musician Magazine).
