In this new painting collection German-Canadian artist, Gabriela Hirt investigates the traumatic legacy she has inherited growing up in the wake of the Holocaust. Her large works explore belonging and exclusion as well as the relationship between German guilt and de-colonial healing in her adopted home in Canada.
