Unity! Hans Verhoeven’s quartet presents the music from organist Larry Young’s masterful and groundbreaking 1965 Blue Note album. With compositions by Woody Shaw, Joe Henderson and Thelonious Monk, this music still sounds utterly fresh, creative, and original. Dr. Tony Genge on B3 organ, Ryan Oliver on tenor, Jon Challoner on trumpet and drummer Hans Verhoeven are putting themselves in the hot seat with this repertoire. Don’t miss it!
