Event Description
Have a heart, let's create art! Join us for a fun day of printmaking to celebrate Valentine's Day. Create your own cards, labels and more. Explore printmaking techniques you can recreate at home using everyday household items! Together, we will create one-of-a-kind, heartfelt valentines to help spread the love this month. Get ready to put your own stamp on Valentine's Day!
This class is offered two ways: In person or on Zoom.
Morning session (10am-11:30am): This session takes place in-class at the Ladysmith Waterfront Gallery,
444 Parkhill Terrace, Ladysmith. We follow a strict COVID-19 safety plan: all participants must wear a mask, work stations are sanitized, and participants are spaced apart. There is also a limit on the number of people who can register.
Afternoon session (12:30pm-2pm) If you are uncomfortable taking this class in person, we are offering a ZOOM version. The Zoom link will be sent to you prior to the class. Any problems, contact our education coordinator Shannon, [email protected]
Materials:
All materials are included with registration. For in-person participants, materials will be provided in class. For Zoom participants, materials kits will be available for pickup on Friday, February 5.
Instructor Francesca loves printmaking, but she doesn't have any fancy equipment at home. She has found alternative options to create interesting works of art using household items. There should never be a limit on creativity so she hopes you will experience that no matter how limited you are in supplies there is never a reason to not be creative.
