Event Description

“Very, very good avant fusion” (Guitar Player magazine) captures the essence of Elliot Freedman's music: harmonically elegant, rhythmically muscular, and an uncompromisingly adventurous update on the electric jazz of the 1970s.
This solo guitar concert will see Elliot, whose baritone and classical guitars accentuate his innovative chordal work, perform his own compositions, as well as pieces by Keith Jarrett, Kenny Wheeler, Bill Evans, and others.
