Event Description

Another chance for you either to come back to Hermann’s Jazz Club and enjoy the live music again - or be able to watch the show live streaming in the comfort of your own home. Due to current rules, advance reservation and purchase of your ticket is required so click on ticket icon it will guide you. CanUS & Friends is a group of Victoria’s most revered traditional jazz musicians and sharing that wonderful genre of New Orleans Jazz,& Blues with you. On the trumpet is Alfons Fear, well known to fans and the legend clarinet & tenor virtuoso Al Pease at his side. Giving the rhythm back-up are the music veterans Joey Smith on bass, Avram McCagherty on banjo & vocals and Toni Blodgett also singing and of course, tickling the ivories. May I say that the generosity in donating to the band has been so very important along with the ticket sales to make sure the band members go home with something more than goodwill. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts and this is allowing us to carry on making music for you to enjoy. Hope to see you again at Canada’s oldest operating jazz club.
