Event Description

Join us Saturday, February 8, from 2-4pm to celebrate the closing of When Raven Became Spider with a talk by Sonny Assu! Running from Jan 10-Feb 8, When Raven Became Spider fuses Indigenous art-making and storytelling practices with superhero motifs. The show features both older and recent work from Sonny alongside pieces from Joi T. Arcand, Shaun Beyale, Julianne Beaudin-Herney, Elle-Máijá Tailfeathers, and Jeffery Veregge. Sonny will share more about his practice and involvement in the show in a public talk.
