A Viennese Valentine
The Strauss family and Vienna are the perfect backdrop for this year's Valentine celebration. Enjoy the romance and gaiety of of this European capital along side Danube.
Vienna, recognized as is one of the most important world centres for music and culture, is famous for the waltz, the polka and the many operettas of Johann Strauss, Franz River and Robert Stolz.
The soloist for this concert will be Vancouver soprano Lambroula Pappas who has sung with the Symphony Orchestras of Vancouver, Calgary, Montreal, Spokane and appeared in the opera houses of Spain, Canada and the USA. The concert will be a our tribute to the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra's famous New Year Day concert.
