Conducted by Ajtony Csaba, the UVic Orchestra performs Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 2 in B-flat Major, featuring pianist Xheni Sinaj, 2019 UVic Concerto Competition winner, as well as Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 4 in F Minor, Op. 36, the first of his “big” symphonies, sometimes called “Fate.” The concert will also include a special composition developed in collaboration with Lindsay Delaronde, Faculty of Fine Arts Indigenous Resurgence Coordinator.
