Come to our print studio and explore your senses; the feel of paper, the smell of inks, the pull of the press – a world of colour, texture and mark making – the world of printmaking.
Your experience in the print room will offer a chance to handle the rag papers, to feel the weight of a copper plate, and to handle some of the cutting and burnishing tools. Learn what a hand-pulled print means in the disciplines of etching, lino-cut, screenprint, and other techniques.
The Open House is a group exhibition of studio members and will feature beautifully matted and framed original prints in a wide range of imagery, styles and techniques. An accompanying portfolio of original prints will reveal the broader context of the body of the work of each participating artist. Meet the artists and share in their passion and vision.
The studio has its foundation in the long-standing practice of printmakers coming together to share the sophisticated equipment and special skills. The studio practice supports the hard work and staying power that artists require to produce consistent and technically flawless hand-pulled prints.

I draw inspiration from the natural world - from the simplest play of shadows on a surface to vast wild landscapes and seascapes. Design and architecture are also key influences.
Early work includes mono prints and hand lettered works. Currently my painting explores themes of connection - to place, to memory, to an idea, and to each other.
