Enjoy your favourite CBC personalities read Charles Dickens' classic tale, "A Christmas Carol" with a Christmas sing-a-long led by the Anne-Marie & Peter Brimacombe and the Our Place Outreach Choir. There will be a performance by the children from the Suzuki Strings Program at the Victoria Conservatory of Music at 6:30 p.m. before the reading starts at 7:00 p.m. Seating is first come, first serve. Seating for persons with disabilities reserved in advance. There will be a 15-minute intermission. Hot chocolate and cookies available. SHERYL MacKAY (Radio Host)
Sheryl MacKay started with CBC Radio in Vancouver in the early eighties. Then she felt the pull of home and moved back to P.E.I. to work with CBC there. In PEI she worked as a radio and television host and producer. After ten years in the east she moved back to B.C.to have the ocean on the other side again.
