The Peripheral Visionaries draw attention to nearly-forgotten but timeless tunes mainly from the '30s, '40s and '50s in the country swing and swing genres. With a lineup of guitar, mandolin, lap steel, accordion and piano — and impeccable three-part harmonies — Vancouver Island's Peripheral Visionaries make something new out of these old songs.They also do unique takes on songs by better known artists like Lennon/McCartney and Hank Williams, and throw in some of their own compositions.

Hearse is Grayson Walker, Jacqueline McLaughlin, Sweet Diesel (Deleina Mae) & Joel 'Hot Fingers' Fernandes —sweetheart hooligans spewing a dangerous mix of accordion smoke, guitar whiskey, sarcastic wit, & tender chaos. Walker is a keyboard phenom who effortlessly animates the spaces around McLaughlin’s giant personality & snake bite lyrics, Sweet Diesel keeps 'em steady & Hot Fingers takes 'em for a rip. Victoria’s roughest diamonds, bedazzling the City of Garden’s seedy underbelly with a glitter of rusty sequins & fool’s gold. Be prepared for anything because that’s what Hearse will bring -- it ain’t always pretty, but it’s always a beautiful thing.

Cluny Macpherson is a true original. He has traveled across Canada by bus, by rail and by thumb. His songs have been described as "perfect" and "timeless." He writes about humidity, Sudbury, globalization, tragedy and his daughter. And, he makes a mean hollandaise. He can play the guitar, banjo, bass and mandolin. Last time he played here was a real sweet musical treat~
