Ingrid Mary Percy studied visual art at the Emily Carr University of Art + Design in Vancouver, BC, Canada (BFA, Dip FA, Studio) and at the University of Victoria, Victoria, BC, Canada (MFA, Painting).
Ingrid has taught visual art at numerous post-secondary institutions including the University of Victoria and Emily Carr University of Art + Design. She also engages in critical writing and curatorial practices.
Ingrid lives in Corner Brook, Newfoundland and Labrador where she is Associate Professor of drawing, painting and interdisciplinary practices in the Visual Arts Program at Grenfell Campus, Memorial University.
She is currently a PhD student in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction, Faculty of Education, at the University of Victoria. Her area of research is community engagement and experiential learning in postsecondary visual arts programs in Canada.
