LOST is pleased to present the George M. Cohan classic – "Seven Keys to Baldpate”, December 5, 6, 7, 8, 2019 at Langham Court Theatre. The play will be directed by Kate Rubin. Proceeds will go to support those in need in our community-Need2- suicide prevention, education, and support, and Victoria Foundry- providing wellness services to young people ages 12-24.
George M Cohan was a Broadway superstar and referred to as “the man who owned Broadway” and “the father of American musical theatre.” Cohan penned “Seven Keys to Baldpate” in 1913 as "a biting satire of the mystery thriller-a serious comedy!” It was Cohan’s most successful play and was a huge success on and off Broadway, inspiring 7 films. The Baldpate Inn in Colorado (www.baldpateinn.com) was named after the Earl Derr Biggers mystery novel Seven Keys to Baldpate that inspired Cohan to write the play.
LOST will bring this Cohan classic to the stage, with perhaps a few modern updates! All of the 15 actors on stage, who share a love of theatre, will come from the legal profession, including Katie Webber, Stuart Wright (Carfra Lawton), and Benjamin Peterson (Quadra Legal), all taking time from their busy lives to help raise awareness of and support for those most in need in our community.
Mark those dates- 8pm Dec 5, 6, 7 and 2pm Dec 8, 2019- at Langham Court Theatre for LOST’s third fundraiser-family theatre enjoyment and giving back to those in need. Ages 12+.
Tickets Adult $30, Senior $25, Student $15 (plus $2/ticket service fee).
