A special recital in celebration of Clara Schumann's 200th birthday. This popular concert series is devoted to the exploration of the rich repertoire of German art songs (Lieder) with husband-and-wife duo, soprano Sharon Krebs and pianist Harald Krebs. Harald Krebs obtained his PhD in music theory from Yale University in 1980. He held a Killam Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of British Columbia, and taught at UBC and at the University of Wisconsin-Madison as a sessional instructor.
