Ashton Bachman is a diverse multi-instrumentalist extraordinarily skilled at songwriting, guitar, percussion and vocals. His lyrics come straight from the basement of the soul. His songwriting is powerful, sensual and moody providing a rare and cozy intimacy. He has a remarkable control over his vocal chords, treating them like a percussive instrument. He also happens to be wildly skilled at percussive instruments (he started drumming at age 5), and often plays his acoustic guitar with a percussive technique popularized by internet sensations Andy McKee and Jon Gomm, making for rich sonic landscape. Ashton grew up in a musical family and has always had an affinity for the art as his grandfather is the Canadian legend Randy Bachman, his father the superbly talented Tal Bachman.
