Event Description

Get ready to do the Aqua Velva as two of East Vancouver's rawkingest post-punk dance bands hit the Fairview Pub. Rawk Lobster is an East Van supergroup that plays B-52's music. No simple tribute band, they are an entertainment tsunami in their own right. Cass King and the Cassettes play the best original music that you feel like you've heard somewhere before. Influenced by Tina Turner, Joe Jackson, Prince, and the Ramones, the Cassettes take pride in the fact that their music makes grandmas jump up and boogie.
