Event Description

Ben Parker will perform Sonata for Trumpet by Henry Purcell, Prayer of St. Gregory by Alan Hovhaness, and Wachet auf by J.S. Bach, accompanied by Christine Purvis on organ.

Ben started playing trumpet at the age of 7, has played with the Victoria Symphony as a soloist at the 2015 Symphony Splash and as an ensemble member, won the brass category of the Canadian National Music Festival, and his music has taken him to many places, including New York, Chicago, and Montreal. Ben is currently studying with Merrie Klazek at UVic.
