Event Description

Noteworthy Concerts - The Bergmann Piano Duo perform Wintersong with one of Canada's foremost musical artists, tenor Benjamin Butterfield.

Join us for an afternoon of classical song and arias from some of the world's best loved operas as we warm up to winter with songs from Franz Schubert’s seminal song cycle Winter Journey, to some British and American songs by Charles Ives and Arnold Bax. To round out this programme, Mr. Butterfield will present a selection of favourite Randy Newman songs!

About The Bergmann Piano Duo

The Bergmann Piano Duo’s dynamic and energetic performances of uniquely eclectic programmes have inspired audiences for more than two decades. Their recitals and concerts with orchestra have taken them to many parts of the world from the United States to Italy, Germany, Holland, Greece and Canada. The duo studied with Arie Vardi at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Hannover, Germany and with Jean-Eudes Vaillancourt at the Université de Montréal.
