Between Two Worlds is an exhibition of more than 50 watercolour paintings, most of which were created whilst international sculptor Farid Abdulbaki lived as a Syrian refugee, separated from his wife and three children, in Berlin, Germany. The paintings capture impressions from his memory and what he saw and witnessed living in a refugee camp in Berlin. Painting helped with depression, healing the loss of his homeland and separation from his family. Love, peace and tolerance are reflected in all of his work.
