Vinyl Envy is very proud to celebrate our 4 Year Anniversary Weekend with live musical performances each day in-store, and evening shows~
Supported by Creative BC and the Province of British Columbia
Closing out the weekend, on Sunday March 31st are the very talented
David P. Smith & the Ape Shit Army (Victoria, BC)
Outsider singer-songwriter accordionist steeped in blues, roots, noise, surrealism. Fantastical odysseys once embarked upon in saturated dreams have turned to dour sepia abstractions - grim, inexplicable melodramas that make Kafka look like Dr. Seuss. Still, David P. Smith is able to write songs and play his accordion. This show will feature David's wild backing band, 'The Apeshit Army' (including the amazing Rad Juli on drums) ♥
with
Whiskey And Fire (Victoria, BC)
Local three piece Whiskey and Fire will be sure to warm you up with their swoony old-school vibes, including live upright bass, drums and more~ Don't miss this musical magic (the energy this band brings will get you moving instantly)
and
David Chenery (Victoria, BC)
Formerly of Black Valley Gospel, and currently of The HEX, David Chenery music will be opening the night with a unique solo set of originals~ David's voice is haunting and plays on the darker side of country and his songs will take you on a journey

We're here to help artists and arts organizations reach their audiences and each other.
Non-profit run and created by the community, ArtsVictoria.ca integrates current event listings and multimedia arts portfolios, and creates an explorable, living archive of the arts in Victoria BC.
For physical events that happen at a specific time. For example a concert, or dance performance. If there are multiple shows, you can still duplicate your event to cover them all.
