Event Description

CanUS Sextet Event features our founding member Jim Armstrong on trombone and vocals. Jim still is featured in jazz festivals around North America both with Grand Dominion Jazz Band and as a special guest artist. CanUS & Jim toured 15 years then locally until his move to White Rock. One outstanding event included an appearance at The Kennedy Centre in Washington, D.C. on youtube at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E-QTESE78Wk
Mike Broadley and Al Pease will complete the front line with Avram McCagherty on banjo, Toni Blodgett on piano and James Young on bass completing this hot 6 piece group. A "not to be missed" event for traditional jazz fans.
